Is there such a thig ?

Hi folks, I'm after a black card reader. loads of them about I know. But they all seem to plug into the on board headers on the main board. Not what I wont as I need them for the front USB ports on my case.
I would like to have a card reader to fit the floppy bay but is there another way of connecting the thing up? tell me And point me at one if you can. Regards ZARGONE.

Yes this is the type of thing I am after but it plugs into the motherboard and that's no good to me, as I need the motherboard connection for my front USB ports on my case Cheers.

Can you just a USB2.0 power external card reader?

I think you could use something like this

A PCI card with extra USB's (External) and 1 USB on the inside.

Then connect card reader to the internal USB port.

Also are you front USB ports using one or two motherboard headers ? Is there a spare header available

Thanks for your replies but I have looked into these suggestions and it wont work. The nearest I can get is a PCI card with the internal usb port. Problem is the card reader has a different plug its the plug that goes on the motherboard
