The plasma we have is often carted around between exhibitions and the like. The speaker looks very flimsy and I don’t want us to snap it off in error!

Does it have any connections in the speaker that simply clip off or is it hard wired internally? I don’t want to disassemble to avoid voiding the warranty if its not meant to be removable…

I had a look at mine when i first got it, and I don't think it's coming off without a fight. I don't think it's very flimsy either, and really doubt you'd damage it/snap it off.

Did you keep the tiny bits of polystyrene that were lodged in between the screen and the speaker when it first arrived? If you were really worried, you could put them back in when moving the plasma around :)
