    Hi,
There have been various news snipets in the home cinema press about Sony's Qualia range. Does anybody have any concrete information, price, availability etc.

The 004 projector will probably come first followed by the rest of the range . I am interested in the 70' rear projection TV 006.

Any info would be most welcome!

    Cheers

    Paulh.

Well I know I predicted EASTER for the PJ.........and it's not here.....but my spies tell me that Sony are looking for a handfull of Qualia dealers for the PJ. I don't think they are planning on bringing in any of the other products from the range at present.

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the reply. I'm really interested in the 006, it has received rave reviews in the US, the best rear projection TV ever, if you can believe the hype.

I have a 46 inch toshiba DLP, however, a 70 inch SXRD would be the dogs.

i'm just wondering about the pricing, I mean $13,000 does not mean £8000(rough conversion), not in rip off britain.

    Cheers

    Paulh.

    Paul,

I think the price of the bg PJ will be pretty good actually so who knows what'll happen if they ever decide to bring in the rear pro...which I have to agree looked superb the few times I've seen it over in USA.

I'd be seriously tempted by a 004 if it fell closer to the 5k mark.

    Hi,

Mr.D I think the 004 will probably set you back at least £15k, this year anyhow.

X3ELS - If you could keep us informed that would be great, esp any news on the 006.

    Cheers

    Paulh.
