... lets you create a list of what you have in your iTunes?

Example, I have 120GB of music and would like to send a list of what I have to a friend.

Is there a way of getting the data in a document / text ?

    merci!

EDIT-- for example, in itunes, I can just go to file -- print and then 'album listing.

but this actually prints out the list.

I want it as a file so I can email / view.. if that makes sense

EDIT 2..... found out how.. you can 'print' to a PDF file

sorry, please ignore my inane ramblings

Will Export do on the selected playlist/album? A text file results, although the formatting looks requiring some work.

There's a text editor called Text Wrangler that you can drag the folder of your iTunes Music into and it will create a folder/file list of all the contents.

I use it all the time on my Movie folder so I know what I've ripped so far :smashin:

Cool, some other options, thanks guys.

Just incase anyone didnt know... iTunes can do this.

Select music or whatever playlist you want (i wanted the whole lot)

    File ----> Print

    select album / song listing

    Print

    then select PDF

I mailed one to myself and its very good/clean

Just discovered that reading this exported TXT file with OpenOffice as a spreadsheet (or Excel if you have MSOffice) results in a really neat layout which you can manipulate easily.
