is there a vertical dvd player?

I have a small shelf where I want to site a TV and dvd player but it's not big enough for a horizontal dvd player. Sony used to make a player that worked in the vertical position but it isn't on sale any more. Can anyone recommend a decent player which play dvd's vertically?

You could always get a Playstation 2. Its not too bad as a dvd player, and you can purchase the remote separately quite cheaply. Although the newer slimline one has a lid that flips up, which may not fit in your setup. The older larger one has a normal slide out tray and should be cheap to pick up second hand (just look out for ones with drives on the way out).

Its got a HDMI connection, hence in marketing terms hi-def....snigger. Its standard dvd player incase anyone is confused.
