something that will connect to a tv and act as a media player, whereby I can select movies from a menu, shown on the TV, using a remote ?

that's a bit more than I need, just want a "box" of some sort with audio and video outputs, I already have a good sound system

it looks nice but i dont think they have the capability for hd.

EDIT: they are capable of ouputting hd through component video but the cables are not supplied
