T2 and Step into Liquid are the only ones that I have that need to phone home.
Coral Reef Adventure and Speed have on disc DRM.

    Regards

T2 is online DRM anyway so I dont expect it to work :( (had it since it came out and watched it once lol)
Do you have a linkplayer? If so perhaps we could start a seperate thread for it here purely for the HD abilities etc :) Mine should leave the US Friday and be with me Wednesday'ish

I O Data AVel Linkplayer AVLP2/DVD to give it more or less its full title is a bit like the Kiss DP-600 that everyone is waiting for in that it is capable of playing WMV-HD files. Plus all sorts of other things like usb2 support, DVI output, Ethernet + wireless 11g for streaming many fiormats you can throw at it

Ah, Sounds a bit like a PC? Thanks.

You need the original disc, to renew the licence. The licence expires a number of days after the disc is first played.

Ah Brian, far from a PC, looks exactly like a DVD player with a short aerial

So you can view it the first time without being online but after say a few weeks you would need to go online to renew the license? That sounds like an expensive rental if you importing from the US? or have i missed somthing?

No. The licence is aquired from the disc. An internet connection is NOT required.
