I'm looking for a new tv that's good for both watching movies and gaming (low input lag). For these two reasons i've narrowed it down to the "Sony KDL-42W705B ". Unfortunately this model don't come in bigger sizes, i want atleast a 46". However there is a model called "KDL-48W705C" (check link below). Is the W705C the same model as the W705B, if not..what's the difference between these two?

    Thanks in advance /Izak80

No they are different ranges. The W705B was a 2014 model and a very good one at that. I had the 42" version for a while. Great PQ and exceptionally low input lag making it great for gamers. I use a 32" version as a dedicated gaming monitor now.
The W705C is a 2015 model. Couldn't tell you how good or bad the W705C is as I've never seen one and my go to review sites haven't looked at one. There is a big owners thread for the W705Cs though I believe.

W705C is what W605B was in 2014. So W705B is a step up to W05C even if it is a year older.
Bigger variant to compare with W705B is W75C as a direct successor.
So 48W705C vs bigger (newer) variant W75C.....
W75C has native 100Hz panel, comes with android and has full motionflow controls. Better TV, cost more but it is worth the extra. Also, I think that it comes with 1 more USB port.
