is the SONY KDS-55A2000 xbr2 series

basic question but about to buy one and read on cnet that the xbr2 series is on the way and better. it was an old review so im wondering are tehy now xbr2 as he claims better all round including pc use

The European version of the 55A2000 has the same processing electronics as the american XBR2 series, and is thus superior to the american 55A2000. There isn't actually a 55" XBR2 model in america, but, if there were, it would be exactly equivalent to our 55A2000.
