Greetings all...I have a laptop with hdmi out and a blue ray player that supports DLNA. I want to shift my DVD/blueray collection to iso and run them off a NAS box. I have two configurations in mind but don't know if it's possible.
1) stream to my blueray DLNA (would I go through the laptop or straight from the NAS box? + what software could i use to media server iso?
2) connect laptop to TV via hdmi and play direct with something like VLC player but can I get some sort of USB to OPTICAL convertor so I can have DTS/DD through my amp?
Sorry for mixing the topic a bit but I dont wanna starting buying bits and find out it;s not possible.
