I'm looking for an extra tv for my recreation room so I can play my Xbox/PS3 when the tv downstairs is occupied by kids/wife. Been searching for a few days now about info but it seems I cannot make up my mind. I've checked out Samsung 40C530, Samsung 40D5000 LED, Panasonic LCD, etc but somehow I'm always worried I'll be let down by input lag. I'm used to gaming on a Panasonic P50V10.

I have both a 32" LG LH3000 LCD and a Samsung 32C6000 LED upstairs. The LG is pretty fine for gaming (but 32" is too small for me), but the Samsung is a LOT worse compared to the LG. So that's why I'm a bit worried going for a LED...and started to look at the S30.

Main issues I have with a plasma in a very small place, is the heat output, buzzing noises (are there fans in the S30?) and image burn/retention.

So, how is the S30 for gaming? The tv would be used almost exclusively with the console. I might play some movies from USB from time to time for the kids (does it support mkv?).
