is the record feature broken or something ?

right as i understand it , you have to double press SHARE and it will record from then for 15 minutes ?
i do that and it brings up the share screen with upload video - share screenshot and so on .
i,m sure it didn't do this previously.

so help me out - what do i do to make it start recording ?

Think if you bring up the share screen and press options you can change what the button dose
