Watched this again on video for the umpteenth time last night. Still the best film ever! Anyone know if this is available or coming to DVD anytime soon?
The 1952 one with John Wayne? Is available as a special edition from Artisan (Region 1) with following extras:
Audio commentary by star Maureen O'Hara; "The Joy Of Ireland" documentary hosted by Maureen O'Hara; Montage; Making-of hosted by Leonard Maltin; Trailers; Closed captioned
Question is which review do u believe, one says it looks good while the other review says it looks bad, worth noting i belong to an american forum site and some members have complained it looks bad, i suggest u search the web for further reviews unless you aren't too fussy about the picture quality, its my understanding the original release was vhs quality but the reviews of this new release give mixed signals.
The BBC review seems to be of another dvd release of the title perhaps a region 2 release with better picture quality than the region 1 but lacking the extras.
