Is the Pioneer PL-30K the same as the PL 30?

I'm sorry if this is a daft question but I am in the market for a new turntable (after 25 years or so) and I like the look and reviews for the Pioneer PL30K but... Is the PL30 a different beast or the same thing?

My overall budget (for a decent amp, turntable and pair of speakers) is about £900 so I don't expect audiophile but I don't want rubbish. (My main room has Arcam A28 into Monitor Audio GS20 - which is just awesome - so I don't expect to compete with that!)

Any cautionary advice would be very welcome.

On the pioneer website there just seem to be the budget PL990 and the PL30. The link then leads to the PL30-K. Maybe it's like Sony where the K suffix means black?

Yep K stands for Kuro, which is Japanese for black. See Wikipedia
