thread title says it all really...

on a more general note, are all plasmas with HDMI sockets HDCP compliant? If not it seems to me that u can buy an HD panal with with right sockets but then be unable to watch Sky or other protected HD content.. Is this correct?

For it to be HD ready, ie. take HDCP through HDMI, and diaplay min res of 720P.

    The PV500 IS HD ready.

If you check the manufacturese website the plasma should have a HD ready logo for it to be compliant.
