So I'm looking for a new TV the previous was an LCD Samsung and there's a 10cm thick white line going through the middle.

so I was looking at the LG range as i've heard good things about the screen quality.

this is the model i've liked. I had the last one for 10 years so I'll be looking to get some mileage out of this one. Mostly the kids will watch their stuff but I watch Football and NFL when i can. Also will be connecting my Gaming PC to this.

I like that it has 8k and 4xHDMI connections as we have a switch, sky, xbox one (looking to upgrade this to an x)

its on for £1050 at currys so its a good deal.

Any cons on ordering this? any better alternatives for a similar price range? I also have costco membership

Yes, there are better TV's. At 1050 it offers poor value for money. It has IPS panel, so low contrast, grey blacks and lot of blooming in HDR. Also, it is just 60hz.
Look at Samsung Q80A, QN95A, Q90T, Q95T.
Sony XH9505 or Oled's - LG B1, BX, C1, CX, GX.
Philips 705, 706, 805. Sony A8H. Any Panasonic OLED

It is from my list - B1. Much better than Nano 96.
How much it costs at other retailers?

If You can, then definetly wait! In BF should be some great deals. If not for B1, then for other TV's
