Is the DVP-NS300 multi-region...

Hello everyone...

I know this is probably a real stupid question. But is the Sony DVP NS-300 DVD player multi-region... If anyone has one could you let me know if it works ok because I can get it cheap off "the back of a lorry"....

I am knew to this and will learn quickly people....

It is only multi-region if it has been made so via internal upgrade.

For example, Sony DVD players sold in your average high street store in the UK are Region 2 only......meaning one of the back of a lorry will also be Region 2 only.

Only if the lorry wasn't going too fast, the DVD player was well packaged, the drop in height from the lorry was not to high, and the damage was minimal after hitting the ground.

Offcourse any other meaning to Off the back of a lorry is expressly discouraged.

Well I don't like it as it encourages crime.

There is an obvious connection with getting you house burgled/ being robbed and then buying something cheap down the pub "off the back of a lorry / no questions asked"

Offcourse it encourages crime and my post was not meant to be anything other than light-hearted. As you say Brox, there is an obvious connection between stolen goods and the term "off the back of a lorry" but nothing has been spelt out or implied so it would be wrong of us to assume the original poster was meaning this.

At the end of day, he asked a question - I answered it. The Sony is most likely R2 only.
