Is the Denon too much for these speakers?

Deleted member 241106

Hi guys, i posted this in the speaker section, apologies for duplicating but realised i should have posted here as it's really a question about the amp.

Basically i have ordered the Denon avr1910 amp but still need to find the right speakers to match. I like the look of the Boston Acoustic Soundware xs but i'm worried the Denon is too powerful. Could anyone advise me if this setup will be ok.

Any advice much appreciated!

As long as you set the receiver to small speakers it should not damage the speakers. That's what they are designed for, how good they sound is another story, probably not going to do the Denon justice would be my guess.
