Is the 50V500 compatible with pc hookup?

    Im confused i went to circuit city and the website says its not pc compatible but when i asked around to see if its possible i get answers like its possible but will cost more:confused:
    Hopefully someone here can answer my question?

    The spec i found says 1280x720, dvi compatible. No reason why you can't drive it with a PC then

    I purchased this TV recently, and I’m curious if you were able to hookup a pc through the DVI port. Please let me know your findings.

    fyi...the manual made it seem like the DVI port had some kind of copyright protection, and can only be used with DVI products that had the proper encoder.
