I've just nought a 550EX flash for my 300D. The instruction book is divided into Type A (E-TTL) and Type B (TTL). The 300D is not listed under the models in type A but I assume it is Type A. Anyone explain?

Sure is a Type A....(E-TTL) You'll like the 550, more of a particle beam weapon than a flashgun....

    Thanks for the responses.

I don't have a clue about how to use the 550. I'll read the manual when I get time but I'm sure I'll need a lot of help from you all.
