Hi all
looking at upgrading my current pro logic amp and nearly all of my music listening is off mp3's. that feature that some amps have where they enhance the compressed mp3 to sound fuller and closer to CD looks like a great idea.
But does it improve it in reality. if it does it shortlists my amps for me.
But I fear its a gimmick !!
I'm caught between the Onkyo 505 & the sony sd1200. Both same money in richer sounds. my speakers are m-audios bronze b2's and wharfedale centre.
room is 5 x5 m. I've a CRT TV that i will keep for years as i recently bought it. Sky normal and a DVD player. I was gonna add a sub but realised my amp cannot take it so an upgrade is needed.
All advice welcome.
