I've got a place abroad and am installing Sky with my old Sky+ box over there sometime in the next couple of months. Instead of having to worry about taking my viewing card with me everytime, I was curious if duplication is possible, so I can keep the duplicate card over there.

I realise that only one card can be active at any one time so the viewing card would have to be physically removed from the digibox at home whilst watching Sky abroad.

So, is duplication possible? If so, where can I get it done?

    Thanks for any help guys.

    Hi,

Not possible though many have tried on the new system, if somebody has done it then they have kept it very very quite to stop men in black from Sky coming.

In dark arts community of cracking such systems hacking Sky / NDS is the holy grail.

    Mackers,

And, as it's a banned topic, nobody could give you details here anyway.

ignoring the duplication aspect, there may be an issue with your original plan too.

If you subscribe to premium channels they can't be viewed with your card in an unpaired box.
