Hi, I have a 42w4 panny plasma, which can do PAL/NTSC prog scan, & a non prog scan Tosh 210e dvd player. Do those who have the same plasma & PAL prog scan player think it is worth me waiting to get a PAL dvd player or is some thing like a Tosh 520 which can do NTSC prog scan as good as it will get.
    Thanx.

Downscaling 575i to 480p makes the picture really soft and a bit poor IMO. My HK DVD2550S does both 480p and 575p and they're both great, but up/down scaling doesn't work too well in terms of quality.

Just get one that does both formats, and you won't regret it. I paid £350 for mine BTW.
