Is Netgear DG834 Really ADSL2+ Compliant

I've been looking for a replacement modem/router ADSL2+ compliant. My understanding the spec must conform to itu 992.5. I'm interested in the DG834 but I'm confused. Some sellers describe it as ADSL2+ compliant but only spec it as itu 992.3 & 992.4 which is just std ADSL. Even Netgears website only give ADSL std compliant.The DG834G is similar.

Am I missing something here
