The lovely people at Newcastle planning department have told me that I cannot have a room larger than 4.25m internal length (about 14 feet) for my extension and HC room.

Now I have always wanted a CRT pj and ideally a 1209s. Since the pj is likely to be so long (and hence cut the dimension further) would I be better with a DLP?

You will be able achieve a 2m wide screen with that lenth allowing for screen off the wall a bit and cooling behind the projector (1209s/808s). It might be possible to sqeeze a tiny bit more. but that should give you a very reasonable image.

CRT it is then.

Thanks Roland

Roland,

When you say 2m wide, do you mean 2m horizontally or diagonally?

Martin

Its the width of the image, if its diagonal he would have said 2m diagonal.

Just wanted to be sure:blush:
