Hi all, after a bit of advice,
The disc tray on my pioneer 737 badly judders when you open and close it worse when its closing with a disc in,and im wondering if this is a sign of it about to break,or if an economical repair would be possible?
Although it is an old bus now and there are quite a few compatability issues with it i am still very happy with it and still impressed by the picture in ntsc prog scan.
Anyone else had this? or do you think its nothing to worry about.
    Cheers for any help
    Rob :smashin:

    Hi Tomaso,
Mine started out very slighltly; probably about a year ago! but its got worse and worse :(
I would like to hear from someone who knows how the internals work :smashin: and if its a little motor or some kind of belt that needs replacing?
    Cheers
    Rob

If it happened to mine, the first thing I'd do is take the top off, inspect the mechanism, and carefully apply a squirt of WD40 to any sliding parts (taking care to avoid any belts there may be).

    Hello.
I have inspected, cleaned and lighltly lubricated the tray mechanism but this has not made any difference
The hole tray mechanism looks like one part, which i think i could replace myself? so im wondering if this is a standard item on all pioneers.
Does anyone know if it is and is there a place i could order one from?
Any help would be mucho appreciated.
    Rob
