Is my equipment faulty?

Background on myself first of all, I'm a very recently and very inexperienced isf Level 1 calibrator and was taught by Piers (James from Geek Squad).

The equipment I have is the Sencore Video Pro 400, Chroma V Analyser and the CalMan Pro 3.6 Software.

I have been trying to calibrate the greyscale on my Sony EX503 LCD which as a basic 2point white balance. Now it's very easy to get the RGB Level tracking pretty much flat across the board with all errors reporting below 3 with most below 2 however there is a rather large tint of colour in the darker sections, below 50 IRE and most visible at 20 and 10 IRE and also in the above black square in the P.L.U.G.E. test pattern.

When you look at the Staircase pattern you can clearly see the errors but the CalMan Pro software seems to think everything is all ok.
