Was enjoying ThE Negotiator tonight untill chapter 29 when it just froze. I thought it was a brief pause, but I can't get it to play. Tried skipping a chapter too, but no luck. Somethings jutters forwards, and looks like theresa tear accross the screen.

There seems to be only 2 VERY faint scratches on the disc, could that really be doing the damage?

Guttered, was well enjoying the film too.

Hmm, seems 33 is a little less skippy.

Totally guttered, missed the best part of the film. :(

Tis only a cheapo film but one of my favourites. :(

the light scratches would do it I'm afraid.
Is it ex-rental ? If so take back for refund.

Bought it off the forums. Watched it once, fancied it again. That's a damn shame, one of my favourite films. :(

theres some sort of dvd/cd repair kit out there which supposedly fixes light scratches. Its a bit extreme given that you could probably buy a new copy, but I suppose it could help ?? can't remember where I saw it though (try a search on google).

I got one of those a while back - can't say I was overly impressed.

Unless of course my disk was damaged beyond repair, BUT they did only appear to be light scratches - haven't tried it since.

If you want to borrow it to try anyway, (just cover postage), PM me - you're welcome to try it.
