I was thinking of buying this film espically to see the Halle Berry scene. I have seen it for £11.99 from future entertainment is it worth buying and which region is best 1 or 2.

I would imagine that asking a question like that will bring you a variety of answers from great to rubbish. How will you then evaluate who's opinion you're going to trust.

As this film has been out for some time have you tried the search to see if the topic has been covered before

I didn't like it. Too long, got dull fast and was not enjoyable. Nice performances though.

The R2 and R1 standard version are cut, the R1 signiture version is Uncut. As to whether the film is any good. I dont know its been in my to watch pile for about a month, I just havent got round to watching it.

well here is my thread to the differences between the R1 and R2
I think the film is great:
    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70393

BTW my conclusion as to what the best version is got a bit messed up . From what I can tell the UKR2 release is equal to the R1unrated. even after watching the R1unrated I can't tell the difference between that one and the UKR2 I rented a while ago.
The UKR2 has 2 commentaries, deleted scenes and other extras. the unrated R1 has a new commentary and interviews.

So as I said above I think the R1unrated is equal to the UKR2. If that's the case I would wait for the EIVR2 to hit the bargain bin. Or If u can't wait then go for ther unrated R1 and in that case u can be 100% to have it uncut. I don't trust my memroy thatmuch and neither do I trust the bbfc running times.
    But just avoid the RatedR1

An good film with excellent performances from both Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton. A deep and engrossing film which was very thought provoking indeed. I would say "Yes" to buying this movie.

I liked this film - I thought it was something different anyway, and if you liked Halle Berry in Swordfish, you'll like this even better!

Well... just to throw a spanner in the works, I thought it was quite possibly the worst film I've ever seen! :( Found it very slow, didn't think much of the story, and as far as I was concerned, proved to me that gratuitous sex scenes may be good for a film's ratings, but definitely don't make a film worth watching! ;)

But hey... what do I know! ;)

I was put off it by someone who went to see it at the cinema and didn't think much of it. I trusted his opinion.
