is laptop output high def to my panny ae900

hi there, just recently bought a panny ae900, an have it connected to my laptop via vga.
have the laptop output set to 1280 x 720p,

is it worth while dowloading high def content to my laptop to play on the projector?

ie will the laptop actually be outputing 720p on dowloaded high def content,
like LOST the series is avail in HDTV format from america.

the short answer is yes.

Though be aware that a lot of TV show torrents that say 'hdtv' were only recorded from HDTV and while the PQ may be good it is not HD.
You need to be looking at about at least 1gb for a 45 minute episde for HD. Try searching for '720p'
