Does anyone know If cheap digital cameras are worth repairing?
The flash on my Fuji A201 has packed up & it's only just out of G/tee. It's OK for outside still but I do take quite a lot of photos indoors too. Any ideas on where to take it & how much it would cost?

    Cheers

    with the question

"where can I get my camera repaired"

Might be worth giving them a call.

Thanks for the advice, I will try option 2 1st.
If both options are too expensive, I will buy a new camera.

If you do get a quote from Fuji, please let us know what it is as I am sure it will prove a useful reference point for others.

I spoke to a salesperson in my local jessops earlier today, They want £40- estimate fee up front & he said repair may cost anything up to £70! That's a lot considering the replacement model is £140.
I'll wait until I come back b4 my holiday & then post it to fuji for a repair estimate methinks.
