Fitting rear speakers can fill in the back of the soundstage and will allow you to get the best out of the :dts: ES 6.1 soundtracks.

Presence speakers will only work with a 5.1 setup and can expand the front soundstage with different soundstages. I have used both and decided to just use the rears as although the presence speakers do make a difference the rears make more :D.

Try both ways and see what you prefere. :lesson:

I am also currious about this. I would have thought that the presesnce speakers would be more useful as I've found not a lot of DVD come with DTS.

Also I was wondering if I could use my TV speakers as the presesnce speakers. Has anyone else tried this?
