Is it worth getting an Iscan Pro...

    Still can't decide on how to improve things.

    Currently Using Sony 725DVD Svideo into PC Card + Dscaler into
    an AE100. I get a good WIDE480 image, although there is some minor noise from the capture card, and I get macrovision problems.

    Would a DVD player via component + Iscan Pro into the panny give better results. Mainly using PAL or games using PS2/GC over component, or should I just try to resolve the macrovision problems. I am also worried about lipsync problems, although the ones that I get with descaler are not that noticeable.

    Oh, and I am not interested in using the PC as a DVD player.
