    Sorry guys,
I didn't know whether or not to post this here or in the dvd forum.
I need your opinions on the title above, i'm in the market for a new dvd player and can spend up to £600 approx.
Is it worth buying one with a dvi connection, will this be a marked improvement over the picture say on a Arcam dv89 via component?
If not i would rather have a good quality dvd player with component connections only and not waste money on a dvi board for the plasma.

The 6 is a bit iffy on the DVI board, though the Arcam player works at 576p/50Hz. It is good, how much better than component is hard to quantify. Maybe a demo would sort it out for you.
