I wonder if someone can tell me if there is any difference in the quality of deinterlacers in Panasonic's SD and HD plasma range (still deciding whether to go for the SD or HD model). As I understand it, to get the best PQ from video material on a plasma or LCD at any resolution a per pixel motion adaptive deinterlacer is needed. Is this a standard on feature on all modern displays, or is it only found on the most expensive plasmas/LCDs? Is it worth forking out for an external scaler?
