Is it time to merge this forum with the BD sub forum?

Whilst I understand the need to have a separate sub forum for HD-DVD, having separate high def and BD forums doesn't appear to be offering many benefits anymore, and I'm guessing annoys the mods as much as the forum-goers by having to check both.

Is it time for the two to merge?

Possibly will be something that needs looking into sometime in the future.

We have always had the main forum for any HD technical matters or general HD player discussion, this way the Blu-ray & HD DVD sub forums can be used for dedicated player matters alone
