what exactly is the reason that lcds 'always' beat out plasmas for use as pc monitors (ie. crisper text, sharper corners, etc.) ?
are we saying that at the same resolution and size (let's say 1920x1080 on a 42'') the lcd will be better than a plasma (at the same 1080p resolution and feed)? if so, is it the dot pitch (like in pc monitors) that is smaller in lcds or is it something else?
technical explanation appreciated although a short answer will also do.
thanks!
