Is it still advisable to "run in" a new plasma?

I was in the Market for a budget 42"
After good advice from this forum I took delivery of a TXP42S30B

Very pleased with the set,I have read various threads regarding this but most seem to be a few years old,I prefer a brighter picture so should I wait a while before adjusting the settings to my preferred settings?

Image retention isn't a major problem, as it goes away.
Screen burn is the big worry, as that's permanent.

So you probably don't need to run it in, as that model isn't known for either but it doesn't hurt and you can soon rattle up a couple of hundred hours.

Best advice is to set up the wobbling feature (read the manual if you don't know what I mean) and don't use anything that leaves a static picture for any length of time.

Thanks
Think I'll just keep it off dynamic mode and have the settings at 50% for a week or so,should be on the safe side with that
