Is it possible to connect one to a standard 2 channel stereo amp or would i need a second amp to power it?

As i've just got a NAD C350 and would like to pair it with Mordaunt short 906 speakers but would like a sub to

    Cheers

If your amp has a pre out then fine just connect to the line in on the sub. If not you'd need high level inputs on your sub so you can connect speaker wire from the amp to the sub and then on to the speakers. If your using your sub for av too then you need to check your sub can take both high and low level inputs at the same time, I believe Rel offer this feature on many of their subs

On the cheaper side so do the Mordaunt short 309, Ruark vita 50/100 and the BK XLS200 (last 3 from www.bkelec.com)
