Is it possible?

I am about to get a new tv for my bedroom and was going to get video sender+magic eye from sky+box downstairs.I still have standard old sky box,so if I get the £20 current viewing card paired, could that be the common sense alternative? If so what extra equipment would I need if any,and how to set it up?:)

I assume you want to use the old Sky (standard) box in the bedroom where the TV is located.
In which case you will have to take another feed from the LNB on the dish (as you have Sky+ it will be a quad (4 output) LNB with two spare outputs) directly to the box where it is located.

With a £20 freesatfromsky card you will be able to view the channels listed here
FREESAT from Sky - What's on TV - FREESAT from Sky

If, on the other hand, you want the same choice of channels as the main Sky+ box then Multiroom at £10/month is required and both boxes connected to the same phone line at all times
