is it possible to get a cheap dvd player

... that i won't regret buying?

i was looking to buy a dvd player but i have hardly any money at the moment. it doesn't have to be too clever just play sd dvds. but i do want it to play reliably, i have alot of dvd-rs and i can't stand it when dvd players skip.

so, are any of the cheap players (like under £50 - the lower the better) acceptable? or do you have to pay more for a reliable player?

just back from asda..........nice little black player cant remember the make but was less than £20!!!
