    Hi All,

I've got a manual pulldown Beamax 16:9 Projector Screen (233cm Diagonal) which I've been REALLY happy with for the last year or so. I would like to buy a similar sized electrical screen but given the amount I've spent beefing up the rest of my home cinema setup, I find the costs a bit too dear for me to do so.

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert manual screens from pull down to electrical and if so, how to go about it? I'm not too afraid of giving electrical work a go so I'd appreciate any advice.

    Thanks in advance!

    Not really feasible IMO.

The only cheap way would be getting an electric screen for free - scrap, parts only & using the motor etc.
