does anyone know if its possible to buy just the two rear speakers like or similar to the ones below for my set up. I know they probably wont sound great but its just to keep the other half sweet and for the time being and until i got the money to upgrade.

also they will be powered via and str-dg710 which is 6.1 will it be ok to just use 5 speakers and a sub rather than the 6 as we dont really have a big room.

    thanks all

As rears, they'll probably be ok.
Not sure I'd like to give the amp too much welly though, so if you're going to use them, I'd take it easy.

You don't need to use 6 speakers.
Go through the setup, tell it you have no centre rear and it will sort it out for you, no problem :smashin:

That was my concern, yes, but then I don't know what they're rated at.
It's hard to tell looking at them, and I'm only guessing, but if they're rated at somewhere around 50-100W, they should be fine.
It's never a good idea to whack an amp up too much anyway, unless you know what to listen for and can hear the warning signs.

    Hmm can't help you there.
That style tend to come with all in ones and I can't think of any that look like that off the top of my head

I'm mooching around and if I see any, I'll let you know.
    What's the budget?
