No, literally - I have my 360 vertical and would like to stand my Wii on top of it. Its adjacent to the tv cabinet, on the ouside of the cabinet, in between it and the wall - with about an inch either side. Its sat on carpet.

What I'd like to be able to do is mount the Wii vertically on top of the 360 to save space and get access to both.

Does that sound okay - or is there some reason I shouldn't do this. Is there anything I should do like get a cooler or something?

    Thanks,

Vertical!! I'd be worrying about the Wii falling off  , Even though there are no vents on the top of the 360 I'd kinda guess that you must get some albeit small vibrating from the 360 when the DVD drive spins up. Don't know if that would be a problem :)

    Thanks evade,

There should be no falling-off probs as there is a wall on one side and a tv cabinet on the other (with about an inch clearance each side)

I wouldn't be running both at the same time - and I'm hoping that the wii is tough enough not to suffer from the vibrations caused by s spinning cd in the 360 ...

    We'll see.

Find something made of rubber, (big rubber gromets/washers will do the trick) and stand the WII on them between it and the 360. Job done, will aid with air flow better than sitting on top of each other.

a couple of problems i see.....
1.its vertical..bad idea IMO,you block 1 of the main air intakes if you do that,as when vertical, the base of the machine is blocked, and its part of the air flow.
2.its on carpet...get it off the carpet..bad idea again..
3.dont stand the wii on it,just get a little table or suchlike, and place the wii on the 360---when the 360 is horizontal..maybe with a mousemat or something similar between them.

What he said. You're really asking for trouble putting the 360 on carpet.
