Everytime I play a DVD the image goes dark for a few seconds and then goes back to normal repeatedly throughout the film. It does this regardless of which DVD, or DVD Player I try. I have tried the Playstation 2, another sony (standalone) player, and a pannisonic. Can anyone tell me what I should do? Is it these RCA cables? :lease: help!

Do you have it connected directly to the TV or are you daisychaining the dvd player through a VCR and onwards to the TV

Its sounds like macrovision caused by going through a VCR before the TV.

Ah yes I am daisychaining. Since my TV doesn't have direct inputs, can I use an RFU modulator (I think their called)?

If you have insufficient scart sockets on the TV and if you have twin scarts on the DVD Player try routing the Sky Box (if you have one) through the DVD player and onwards to an RGB enabled scart socket on the TV.

The second scart from the Sky box would then go to the VCR and then onwards to another scart socket on the TV.
