Is it best to buy a HD lcd now or is it wise to hold on a little longer?

I am looking to get into the HD market and ofcourse the first thing I will be purchasing is a decent lcd TV. The only ones that I have my eye on at the moment are the Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000 and the Panasonic TX-32LX500.

But, I don't want to rush out and buy one of these if there are sets coming out soon which offer much more in terms of connectivity and also in terms of 1080p.

Are manufacturers like Sony, Panansonic, Samsung about to release new sets which offer something better?

If there's no rush then I'd say definitely wait, there are always newer and better spec'd models coming out, particularly if you're not watching any form of HD at the moment. I would say first decide when you want to start watching HD, ie subscribe to Sky HD etc, at at the point start to look at what models are available.
