Just received this pm :
Hi

We are from zedcentral, an independent agency providing free product trial programmes. Please have a look at our website www.zedcentral.com

Currently we have several of the new Gillette Fusion 5 blade razors which we are giving away for free to influential individuals such as yourself.

So where's the catch? There isn't one although we hope that you will tell your friends and colleagues about it online and offline but you are under no obligation whatsoever.

If you would like to take up our offer get in touch and we will arrange delivery with you. You can either email me at [email protected] or call me on 07050-695516 and I will be happy to answer any questions that you have.

Thanks for your time

Just wondered thats all and its the first time its happened
:confused: :confused: :confused:

No, it's not allowed. Can you PM me the message including the sender and I'll forward it on to be dealt with.

Thanks.

I have had dealings with zedcentral and they arent a scam!

Speak to Stuart as a few of us where chosen to 'trial' some sony satnavs.

If you dont want to try the free razors I will!

Thanks LGS.

Had a quick look into it and Stuart is aware of them. Baldy is right, they did trial some Satnav with members, but I'm not sure they have permission to PM people.

Will bring to Stuarts attention again - thanks.

I got the same PM, and why the hell do i need a razor with 5 blades?

The razor companies are trying to outbid one another, it's a cut throat business

Groan

That joke along with 'I for one welcome our new [blank] overlords' ceased being funny a long time ago

Always wondered that about razors - years back it was 1 blade. Then scientific breakthrough it went to 3!! Then we got 4 blades, now 5.

Can't understand why the razor companies don't just skip 10 years of development and bring out a 10 or 15 blade razor NOW.

I suppose you have to reinvent the humber razor somehow, in this marketing obsessed world.

PS I'm also up for testing things as well!! :D

5 blades? :eek:

Even more opportunity to cut my already red-raw throat to bleedin' ribbons! I hate shaving - bah, humbug...

cue the 16 blade razor:

The first blade distracts the hair, while the second and third blades sneak up behind it, cutting off any escape routes. The fourth and fifth blades attempt to coax the hair from its hiding place using modern counselling techniques while the sixth blade, posing as a passing motorist, acts as a decoy, allowing the seventh and eighth blades to swoop down and quickly overpower the hair. The ninth blade, disguised as a postman, administers a small dose of chloroform, allowing blades 10 through 13 to remove the hair and escort it away for further questioning. The 14th blade informs the hair of its rights. The 15th blade handles the paperwork and the 16th blade, well, it's just along for the ride.

As a senior member with a goatee, I too am a prime candidate for testing of the razors. I would also like to sample :

An Aston Martin DB9;
Any newly opened restaurants in Manchester;
Any newly opened 'lap-dancing' bars in the North-West;
Any new denomination of bank-note which is legal tender, especially those above 50 pounds.

My mail-box is waiting.:lease:

Your welcome

To be honest I get so much of it through emails I was astonished to get it through here, hence the reaction

I would like a free sample of every current Cambridge Audio and Arcam product around, please, if anyone is listening. :D

Any other products from other companies would be most welcome, too ;)

Sorry Carl, another 700 posts to go before you get in on the action. If there is any Arcam or Cambridge kit going around I am first in line :D

(Sulks like a three-year-old) Not fair! :mad: :D

I will just have to save up, then! ;)

This is scary, I didn't get that pm, how do they know I'm a beardy :D

Dave

Credit to the company all the gear turned up yesterday in a fancy box and some space age jiffy bag.

I got the razor, spare blades, large shaving foam and large after shave balm, must be at least twety quids worth.

Thanks a lot!!!
