    Hi,
I have been video editing with ulead studio 9 and previous versions for some time now but i would like to know why on certain transitions, ie -Album, my computer takes an age to respond on preview mode. My question is, is a graphics card important in video editing and if so, is mine up to it. My computer spec is
    1 - Amd 64 Athlon 3200
    2 - 1024 mb memory
    3 - Ati Radeon 9550 256mb graphics card
Ps, i don't always shut down background programs .

    Cheers
    Jonna

The graphics card is not greatly important for editing & preview.

Ram & Processor are more important for rendering/preview if you are going to spend money.
Closing down the background programs may help some.
