Just noticed its on offer at Zavvi, but have heard mixed reviews....whats your thoughts
Also interested, though it was going for about £7 for a pc version on the classifieds.
Really??? Think I would rather play on the PC
Yeah, I'm just not sure, I already play lfs, NSF shift 2 and gt5, not sure I really need/want a rally game....... I've got a G25 and I've heard it works well with it but I haven't tried it out.
Yeah, buy it. I still dip into it occasionally, and it's not bad.
I wasn't impressed with the gymkhana stuff, what that has to do with rallying I don't know. The rest of it was good though.
Worth £7 of anybodies money.
All the Dirt games have been great (in different ways).
Great feel to the cars - it's a good mix of realism and arcade. Great soundtrack too.
Definite purchase if you ask me.
I tried Dirt 2 and couldn't sort the handling out, does Dirt 3 handle exactly the same way???
Bought the PS3 version for my brother for Christmas, & he's enjoying it. His negatives so far are that the game doesn't support the Logitech DF-Wireless steering wheel, & that it's too easy with all the driving aids on, & too difficult once you start turning them off (to be fair, he's not that good..sssh!!)
I played a couple of levels a few nights ago, & it did seem like a lot of fun, & even with some of the aids turned off I didn't find it too difficult except for one snowy rally level that was a nightmare, but I think that's just part of the challenge. It was certainly better to play on immediate pick up than NFS:Shift 2, which I found the controls to be horrible even after half an hour of trying to keep the damn thing on the road.
For £7 I don't see why you shouldn't pick up Dirt 3.
