Is brightness white and contrast black

    if so then am i right to say the more you turn the brightness up the more white u get and the more contrast you turn up then the more black you get ,or am i all wrong

    Other way around.

    Contrast controls the brightness of white, whilst Brightness controls the black level.

    Daft isn't it!... but if you're serious about calibrating your display properly, you need to know how the controls really work.
